During their championship match versus Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday, Gujarat Titans recorded the highest team score in an IPL final.
The previous record, set by Sunrisers Hyderabad against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016, of 208 for seven, was surpassed by Titans, who scored 214 for four in 20 overs.
In order to post the difficult total, the defending champion relied on B. Sai Sudharsan’s mesmerising 96 from 47 balls, which was helped by Wriddhiman Saha’s fifty and skipper Hardik Pandya’s late cameo.
