The Asian Games 2023 will be held in Hangzhou in September and October. The Asian Games added cricket as a sport in 2014, but the Indian team didn’t take part. However, this time around, India will be taking part.
The BCCI has confirmed that the India B team will compete in the competition while the main team prepares for the Asia Cup and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The governing body just approved the team’s participation in the continental event.

According to Sporstar, the BCCI will pick the Indian squad for the Asian Games 2023. With Rahul Dravid poised to be a member of the main team, rumours say that VVS Laxman will be the team’s coach. The men’s tournament starts on September 28, while the women’s competition starts on September 19.
